Not sure if the "glamour" kind of style of GNR is the main reason. There were also values... Nirvana, especially Kurt, had very strong "anti-discrimination" values. He didn't feel that Axl was the same, anx Axl's behaviour after he was "rejected" prooved Kurt was right about him. I think I also came across an interview were someone close was saying that the guys from Nirvana thought that GNR was "corporate rock".

Abrahamic religions are nothing more than a control mechanism. You have done well to reject them. Satanism is a concept only found in Abrahamic religions. Thereby providing that Abrahamic religions worship Satan. The Devil is nothing more than the dark side of man. While Lucifer Morningstar is the Lightbringer punished for bringing knowledge to man.

That sort of flies in the face of the very basis of being religious/having faith. The whole idea of faith, regardless of which existing religion you choose, means putting your trust in something/someone unknown. One creating a new religion gives one self-validation without sacrifice or faith in anything else; it doesn’t require any discipline. I don’t mean that to offend you or anyone else here but humanistic/atheistic religion truly makes zero sense. And without belief in the existence of the supernatural, it’s all irrelevant.

I am not exactly sure if I was driven by self will run riot or guided by a force laid out for me in the very beginning of time as I clicked on this video. However, within moments of watching the woman speaking, it was crystal clear to me that only a being, who themselves was capable of having simultaneously harnessed the collective power of the gods of the RUclips algorithm could have guided me in such a precise and impeccable manner. Over the next several seconds, as the realization that the entire sum of my concerted efforts, comprised of well over 19,000 days and nights, loaded with an assortment of what could only amount to indiscriminately chosen positive and negative memories, each of which had surely allotted me hundreds of experiences, cumulatively consisting of millions of mostly forgotten moments had finally delivered me to my preordained destiny! A chill went down my spine and I instantly felt at peace. It was an unfamiliar peace, as it was not rooted in serenity alone. Perhaps even better described as a serenity bolstered by purpose, driven by a new found deep meaningful faith which I had never know and promptly solidified in the eyes of any strangers who had previously been summoned to be seated nearby. I use to think the same concept of own "religion" but eventually you realise that multiple heads are better than one especially if the ideas survived through time which shows that perhaps they have some value to add (Obviously there can be a dark side to them just like with humans). This does not mean ignore your intuition or critical thinking but understand that our own perception needs to be challenged to grow and gain value. It sounds like you are just rationalising the disgust you feel towards the Abrahamic religions, which is not uncommon tbf. If you were to actually dug a bit into them you would realise there is some wisdom. But well, being a teenager it's common to be radical and anti-stuff. Self awareness, especially of the Ego and understanding (even towards the worst parts of humanity) is key. This coming from an atheist btw. Also pagans are kinda cool ngl and Satanist are just a joke lol.
